A new name, an established team
Solvanta Building Services is a mechanical building services contractor for heating, plumbing and air conditioning, working across Greater London.
Who we are
We design, install, service and maintain heating, plumbing and air conditioning systems for homeowners, landlords, businesses and main contractors. The work ranges from replacing a single boiler to the complete mechanical fit-out of commercial premises, and every project gets the same treatment: a properly considered design, a tidy installation, and full documentation at handover.
We are engineers first. That means clear advice about what your building actually needs, honest pricing for it, and working practices that respect the fact that we are guests in your home or business.
Our history
Solvanta is a new name with an established trade behind it. The business previously traded as Crescent Cooling & Heating, and was incorporated as Solvanta Building Services Ltd as the work grew beyond cooling and heating into full mechanical building services. The engineers, standards and working relationships carried straight across; what changed is the breadth of what we can take on.
How we work
We review the design before we price it. System capacities, pipe runs and equipment selection are checked before work starts, so problems are raised early, while they are still cheap to solve, rather than surfacing as variations on site. Quotations are itemised, so you can see exactly what you are paying for. When the work is finished it is handed over properly, with certificates, F‑Gas records and operating information issued on completion.
Electrical work
Where a project requires electrical work, we deliver it in partnership with a certified electrical contractor, so the whole installation remains under one point of responsibility. We are working towards bringing this capability fully in-house.
Accreditations and insurance
All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. The company is F‑Gas certified through Quidos (F‑Gas Register) and CHAS accredited for health and safety. F‑Gas certification is a legal requirement, not a badge: a company must hold it to install, service or decommission refrigerant systems.
We are fully insured for domestic and commercial works. Registration numbers, certificates and insurance cover levels are available on request.
